About
Natalie is an actor, creator, and comedian who has recently moved back to Vancouver, Canada after receiving her BFA in Drama at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has studied at Playwrights Horizons Theatre School as well as Stonestreet Studios. She has traveled the world studying her craft, spending a summer at NYU’s Commedia Dell’arte program in Florence, Italy participating in a variety of performances including productions directed by Allyson Green (Dean of NYU tisch) and Jim Calder. In Spring 2018 she spent a semester studying Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England, where she worked with multiple guest artists including Kevin McNally (Mr. Gibbs in Pirates of The Carribean) and director Geoff Bullen as well as performing the role of Cassius in Julius Ceasar. A stage warrior at heart, Natalie is proud to be certified in broadsword.
Natalie is also the co-founder of the stand-up group Women Stand Up in NYC. Women Stand Up's goal is to empower any and all marginalized genders to have their beginnings in stand up by creating a community that supports them and a place where their stories are heard for what they are. Although she has relocated, WSU lives on under new leadership. Most recently, Natalie performed in the British comedy “The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery”,a production filled with comedic mishaps and theatrical chaos reminiscent of "The Play That Goes Wrong.” Additionally, she can be found in front of the camera, starring as the lead in the upcoming buddy comedy short film, "Ketchup," which is set to premiere later this year. |
